Yes i've understand what you said, the cylinder is in 70 cc .
the reason i say "50 à boîte" is that in france we've got a lot of 50cc with 70 or 80cc hebo manston cylinder.

For the sprocket you can find it on a peugeot 103 spx or rcx but there are asfine as XP (the xp size is 428 and 103 is 415)
For Xp you can find 15,16,17,19 tooth

Ok greg30, I get it now but don't tell me that there is also a HEBO Manston cilinder that fits the XP engine?

About the sprocket, I could go to 420 but 415 is to weak I guess. Maybe I can modify the sprocketshaft
so another brand sprocket with 13 teeth will fit. I have to look around.

Doff, thanx for welcoming me to the forum. It's sure not easy for me to be a member of a French-written forum
but as you will know: it's the only one about the Peugeot XP!!

BTW, I've got news, tomorrow I will pick up our second Peugeot XP.
This time it's an Avenger and I bought it in the Netherlands, the XP 50 we bought in Belgium.
At least we will have some spare parts which will be more then welcome considering
the plans we have for the engine.

For the sprocket we will have to find a 420-series with a certain kind of connection so
we can modify the shaft of the engine. That's better then converting a 15thooth sproket to a 13 thooth one.

@ greg30, tomorrow we will have a kickpedal too!

So this is our second Peugeot XP

After coming home,we put in the frontwheel of our first XP, I kicked several times and it ran.
I even drove it for a few minutes. Well I wasn't impressed because the bike barely ran.

At least we have some spareparts now.

Greetings, 2Stroke.

Hi guys, today we bought some nice parts to upgrade our Motocross Peugeot XP.
The parts are from a Honda MTX-R2 and include the frontfork and swingarm, front disc brake and the two wheels.
Ofcourse we will use the Pro Link rearshock setup but not in combination with the standard Honda shock but
with a motocross adjustable shockabsorber.

I'm also in the proces of designing a vario because I couldn't find a useable race vario on the market.
Another thing I'm going to make is a brace between the crankshaft and the rear-vario axle, because the
rather thin crankshaft will be subjected to much more bending forces than in the standard engine set up.

I will keep you guys posted on future progress.

Greetings 2Stroke.

ps. Greg30 can you translate, please?

Hi fanfouer74, sorry but I don't know what you mean with "pitchfork" !
Is it the front-fork you mean or maybe the swingarm??

Yes we will use the front fork of the Honda MTX-R2. This picture shows how it will look but
we will have to make new bearing supports for it.

Hi guys, here is a picture of our XP-MX with the new frontfork, swingarm and wheels installed.
Notice that we put the swingarm "up side down". That's because the chain runs on the righthand-side
as opposed to the Honda MTX and the swingarm is different on the chain-side. It's still missing the
Pro-Link rocker and rearshock, that's because we have to use a different Pro Link rocker and
still have to buy that piece.
The bearings used in the steeringhead are tapered rolling bearings from a Honda CR125.

So what do you think of it? Will it withstand the torture of MotoCross??

BTW. we want to use the Doppler ER3 Vario for the 103SP with clutch but then ofcourse in conjunction with
the original XP radial clutch system.
Anyone already tried this one on their XP, either with 103 SP or XP clutch?

The bearing supports for the tapered (Honda cr 125) bearings are finished and welded in place. The sturdy frontfork is now definitly placed.

A setback, is that there are no pignon's smaller then 15 tooth. What we are going to do, is make a new pignon-axle on wich we can use a pignon from a Kreidler. They are plenty to find from 13 to 16 tooth. We couldn't find a rearsprocket ( we need around a 70-tooth rearsprocket ), so I started drawing one which probably will be Laser-cut. It's good that my son works at a company that has all those machines.
New problem with that, is that I normally design the new parts in AutoCad and that company only works with SolidWorks, so I have to redo all the drawings in SolidWorks.
Maybe the best way to learn it quick.
